The 24 countries that will be involved in ClanBase's NationsCup XIII have now been confirmed. Qualification finished today and the four groups will be announced this evening so we will update this post accordingly when CB make the draw.

Team Ireland were knocked out by Team Portugal in the first qualification round but may be pleased to hear that Lithuania got the better of them in the second round.

With the conclusion of the Asian Championship, the groups for the Intel Extreme Masters Global Final are now complete. The event takes place between the 2nd and 6th of March in Hannover and looks to be an awesome event.

* Setup/bootcamp on Friday 5th March with the tournament over the 6th and 7th.

What will the format be?

After the group stage this is currently undecided and I am going to let some of the participants send me ideas on how they think the second stage should progress. However, each team will get a minimum of four competitive matches. Bootcamp will also provide small tournaments if people are keen.

What are the prizes like?

* 1.6 - £1,600 pot
* CSS - £1,600 pot

This pot is based on a full attendance of which I'm extremely confident will be realised. There is room for expansion included and the sponsors will boost their contribution accordingly.

Where can I stay?

For accomodation you can choose any hotels you want. The cheapest by far are Travelodges of which there are three nearby.

Despite making a competitive start as terrorists on inferno with the scoreline tied at 5:5 at one point, Team UK were unable to cope as Poland then shifted gears, winning 11 straight rounds to take the game. Team UK will hope to improve in their week 2 match against Lithuania and get their first points on the board.

One of the greatest teams to ever compete in Europe Sgt. Wolfbanger have returned for a huge comeback for CS Pro Mod. The team, founded in 2000 we're known for a 30 - 0 defeat against Wink in the UK/IE cup and have made one line-up change ever. The are now returning with the same squad of super well known UK players:
