Infinity Gaming 6, its finally here!

Hi peeps,
I've decided to join in the trend of announcing another lan! As you know we had some trouble finding a suitable venue that would be capable of running an event of the scale we wanted to and to the usual quality we require. You all know how rushing an event with little preparation and a bad venue can cause havok, so we have taken the necessary research to make sure we find the right place. We've finally come across a venue that would be able to hold a 32 team CS 1.6 tournament with very good computers. Dates have not been finalised, and we have not confirmed the booking with the internet cafe yet as we would like some feedback before we go ahead.
The Venue: Crossfire
The Dates: Sometime in the Summer Holiday
Location: Wales, Swansea
As you can see it is a bit far out for most of you to get to, however this is one of the centres we have put down on our list as one of the best suited for Infinity Gaming 6. It will be worth the travel for a very good event. What I require is feedback on dates when you would like the tournament to be held (only give a month and early/late e.g. Late June) and also your teamname and contact alias and channel only if you can attend.

As you say its a bit out of the way for people wanting to attend, but I am sure if the venue is good enough it will be worth it.

summer holidays is good, always going to be some people on holiday but you cant do anything about that, just make sure it's after exams, so maybe early june?
karl the problem isnt the lan, what youll find is, alot of people to travel a long way, and the people who attended wiredout will be so weary about traveling for something that could go just as bad, i mean it is a mish :x

I for most understand how s*** it is to travel so far to an event that is a shambles, been to so many myself in the past, hence why we're making sure the centre is perfect, which it is, so it'll be worth your travel. For anyone who wants to know this lan center is 1minute from the train station, you literally walk down the road and your there! Good place to hold it
Alot of LANs this year boys, can host as many as people wish, get jobs.
The reason its taken so long to announce is because IG wanted to find a LAN center that was capable of hosting a 32 team without it all going tits up as Sean said, as I understand it the owner of the LAN is being really helpful and is eager for the event to take place.
The location isn't ideal but i'll be traveling from Norwich and due to cheap flights it will probably cost me less than getting the train to Bedford lol

- Hotels: there is a Travelodge and a Premier Inn within easy walking distance. I presume it's cheap accomodation they'll want, otherwise the Grand Hotel is next to the train station (about a quarter-mile walk away from here) and the Dragon Hotel is directly opposite us.

www.directrail.com Murdy. I just checked with young persons railcard (I don't know if you are a student, assumed you were) and its 50 quid now for the last weekend of April. But I bet this doesn't take place till at least mid May, so if you book early enough it shouldn't be more than 50-55 quid
ye think ud have to fly to cardiff (Roose) airport then get a bus into cardiff city center (45mins-1 hour) then get a train from cardiff to swansea which dont take that long - unless theres an airport closer which i dont know!
