ESL have today announced the distribution of prize money with Counter-Strike 1.6 receiving over £3,000.
Breakdown:
1st.
£1,7502nd.
£7503rd.
£4404th. £220
Win Bonus: £25
An announcement will be made shortly regarding the dates of the tournament.

and why would the prize money be any higher for one of the most unreliable and immature gaming scenes (UK 1.6)? maybe if the first season goes well without half the teams folding/not showing up the prize money may increase for season 2? just a thought..
