Today we have opened a 5on5 Mix Ladder to give teams somewhere more relaxing to play than the Amateur Series, with several reductions to the rules to make the focus on playing.

The following exceptions to the standard ESL rules apply to this ladder

- Custom hud/scoreboards allowed
- No client setting restrictions
- Only winner must upload Aequitas
- Missing Aequitas from winner is delete only, no penalty points
- POV demos are not required

Over at DreamHack where there is plenty of action going on, it seems like the ante has really been upped and the tension is building for the top 4 Swedish teams as they take part in the Inferno OnLine Final where swe fnatic, swe SK-Gaming, swe H2k.Gaming and swe MYM go into battle to be crowned the IOL Final 4 winners!

After the group stages it was fnatic that came out due to round difference with SK-Gaming. All teams showed great confidence and experience as they stretched the number 1 team in the world, fnatic to the limit with H2k.Gaming taking 2 maps off them in the group stage.

The groups ended up like:

1st. swe fnatic
2nd. swe SK-Gaming

3rd. swe MYM
4th. swe H2k.Gaming

So with fnatic and SK-Gaming in the final with both teams level on points from the group stage it was all in the hands of the player to determine who would come out victorious.

Grand Final:

swe fnatic [13:16] SK-Gaming swe (de_dust2)
swe fnatic [06:16] SK-Gaming swe (de_inferno)

Final Standings

1st. Gold Trophy swe SK-Gaming
2nd. Silver Trophy swe fnatic

3rd. Bronze Trophy swe MYM
4th. swe H2k.Gaming

Congratulations to SK-Gaming on their long awaited victory over fnatic in a final.
